I have been pretty much out of the jukebox collecting world for quite awhile. I have read that values/sold for prices have softened. Saying that....
I got a call from a local guy who has a 1939 rockola luxury light up jukebox.
It looks complete to me... has cracked upper right plastic, things that are obvious look to be bad buttons & the border/base around the buttons.
Other than that... it's dirty.
He said it plays but spins record slow.
Can you please give me an idea what to offer?
Thank you very much.

You got no answers because you asked a question that no one can answer ! "condition, condition, condition" $350 to $3000, would be my GUESS ! Ron Rich

I like this vintage of jukes. The Rockolas aren't nearly as desirable as the Wurlitzers are. For you to be safe, start at a $2000 value all done, then deduct the cost of the parts needed to get it there. Then deduct something for your labor to get it into final condition. That'll give you a fair purchase price.

I agree with gaj. That is a good starting point. If you put any labor into restoring it, then it would be difficult to come out with a financial advantage, except perhaps, if you tagged your time at minimum wage.

Hi, not too sure about prices/valuations, but what I may suggest is that if you are planning on restoring and keeping this jukebox for yourself, do some research and make sure that if the need arises, there are spare parts available in particular cosmetics such as decorative trim and plastics. Believe me there are certain parts that will either not be available or are not likely to be made as reproduction items. The older and more obscure the machine the less likely parts will be available. Good luck. If you decide to go for it, I hope you get it at a reasonable price. Gary
