A wallbox would connect to the Control Unit on ST5, a 3 pin connector. Pin 1 is ground, pin 2 is signal and pin 3 is +15V. There is a 330p capacitor from pin 2 to ground, it might be worth checking that it hasn't gone short circuit, if all else is in order.

I don't have anything plugged into ST5. I guess I'll have to look into the capacitor. What is the easiest way to tell if is shorting out?

Sorry, I gave the purchasers of my ES-5/5.1's, all of the info, that I had, when I sold them--years ago !
