Hi,
My Wurlitzer 1100 has a fuse labelled 4/10 amp.
Is is the same as a 0.4 amp fuse?

Yessir ! You can also use a 3/8 fuse there--that is the coin fuse--Do NOTuse anything larger--do not replace it if it keeps blowing-fix the problem FIRST ! Ron Rich

Thanks Ron. I just added a wallbox and stepper, so I expect the problem will be there.
Cheers

Gordo, Wallbox/stepper should not blow a "coin fuse" ? I dono --if the fuse is in the stepper, I have no info as I don't think I ever saw an 1100 with a stepper ? Ron Rich

Correct, it is the coin fuse that blew.
I have a 3025 wallbox connected through a 218 Terminal box that is working very well.
On the side of the terminal box is provision for a stepper to plug in.
So I today connected a 3031 wallbox through a 219 stepper and it blew the fuse.
More investigation required.
I will let you know how is goes.

Unfortunately it is not been a simple fix.
The 3031 wallbox and stepper continues to blow the fuse (even without the 3025 wallbox and terminal box connected).

Sorry Ron, I got my numbers around the wrong way (too early in the morning here in Australia).
I have a 3031 connected through a 218 terminal box.
I added a 3025 through a 219 stepper.

Hi Grdo, I don't know WurliTzer product numbers well enough to comment on what could be happening-- I was thinking why would an 1100 jukebox need a "stepper" for 24 selections--thought that the stepper came along with 100 select + products ? Ron Rich

The 24 select wallboxes (3020, 3045 and 3025) required a stepper. The 3025 had a modification to allow it to select 48 records (for later model jukes), however, you required 2 steppers. The 3031 wallbox works without a stepper through a terminal box and in my case is a much simpler unit to maintain.
I fixed the fuse problem, I lubed and cleaned the stepper and it is now OK.
Thanks again Ron,
Cheers

Hi Gordo, Glad you fixed it--still don't understand how/why adding a "stepper" should/could cause a "coin fuse" to blow--sure it's not the selector fuse, or both ?? Also, thanks for the stepper info--I guess WurliTzer wanted to get away from the 30 conductor cable, for the wallbox--- lol ! Ron Rich
