Hello, again....
I have redone a Rowe CD-Wb wallbox and have some questions.
I am going to install the 24 vac transformer inside the wallbox which will allow me to use just a 6 22 awg conductor cable to connect to the CD100 jukebox.
I want to place a 3.0 amp fuse to protect wallbox, should I fuse the 115 vac input side or the 24 vac output side?
I have already test placed this transformer inside the wallbox and there are no issues with interference or heat.
Also, the transformer has a ground wire, should I connect it to the ground conductor of the power cord?
Thanks!
BJ

Hi BJ, The only reason for a 3 amp fuse in a wallbox circuit, is UL decided that it would prevent a fire in the wall box line. They were in the secondary-- If just one wallbox probably a 1/2 amp SB, fuse will do. On the ground wire-- I would not, but, I would use a GFI, inside the wallbox, or plug the cord into a GFI--- Ron Rich
