Once a record starts playing the volume takes sometime to come back to full. I know it's the mute circuit. Is there anything that can be changed to make the volume come back on quicker?

No Sir-- attsa not the "mute" circuit ! It's the AVC circuit, and is pretty well controlled by the values of the resistors in it-- have you checked that none have "changed" value ? Is your needle landing position, correct ? Do you have a gen-U-whine Shure, needle installed ? Ron Rich

I'm back on this topic. I'd like to get this fixed. It actually takes a few seconds(5+) to reach normal volume I don't have the schematics for this amp. I do know it's the same amp in many of their boxes. I have no idea where to look. If it's weak resistors,I'd be up to switching them out. Just need to know where to look. Thank you
