NEED HELP! I CHECKED THE POWER SUPPLY BECAUSE IT WAS BLOWING A FUSE , I PUT A CAPACITOR IN NOW NOT IT DOES NOT BLOW THE FUSE, BUT WHEN YOU SELECT A SONG IT WILL SHOW THE SONG NUMBER FOR A FEW SECONDS AND THEN IT DISAPPEARS, NOTHING HAPPENS AND THE TURN TABLE IS TURNING, I KNOW THE MOTORS ARE ALL OK BECAUSE WHEN THE FUSE BLEW IT WAS HALFWAY BETWEEN A CYCLE AND WHEN I CUT IT BACK ON AFTER REPLACING THE CAPACITOR IT WENT BACK TO NEUTRAL OR REST POSITION. SO TO FINALIZE IT THE JUKEBOX WILL SHOW THE SONG SELECTED FOR A FEW SECONDS BUT THEN DISAPPEARS AND NOTHING HAPPENS. WHEN I TRY TO TEST BUTTONS ON THE LOGIC BOARD NOTHING HAPPENS. PLEASE HELP ME IF YOU CAN , SCRATCHING MY HEAD. THANKS RONNIE IT IS A ROCK OLA 478 MYSTIC. OR IF YOU KNOW A REPAIR PERSON IN RICHMOND VA.

Have you checked the 9.6V - as in actually checked it with a voltmeter as opposed to relying on an LED. This is critical to the operation of these and causes malfunction especially if it goes high. It's the pink wire on the plug from the power supply but you should also be able to identify it from the manual. Norman.

RONNIE, Quick note on the above-- you must use a GOOD meter to check this--"El Cheepo" ™, brand meters will not be accurate enough ! Ron Rich
