A lot of the needle/tonearm adjustments in most of my Seeburg manuals suggest using transparent records when making the adjustments, presumably so you could see through it to see, for example, needle landing position. DId Seeburg or the other companies supply these to their reps/techs/servicemen? I have several ALMOST clear 45 in my collection, but nothing really totally transparent. I was think of cutting one out of some leftover Lexan I have.

Hi Andy, I think maybe someone was dreaming when that was written-- I have sen some "transparent" enough that one could accomplish that adjustment using it- but really never have-- I just allow the needle to land on the outside, of the record so I can "judge" where it hasta land on several records.
