I am trying to figure out the make/model of the jukebox in the picture, and am hoping someone here might know. It's a screengrab from the documentary film "Punk In London" filmed in 1977. The jukebox in question was owned by Bernard Rhodes, manager of the Clash and this shot was taken in their rehearsal space. Many thanks! imgur.com/a/vW9vQgd

It's very hard to tell because you don't get a decent view but my GUESS is that it's a BAL-AMi Super Forty. There's another scene in the film of a band rehearsing in a warehouse with old pinballs, slots and jukeboxes including a couple of Chantal Meteors. The film can be viewed on YouTube. Norman.

I would agree on the BAL-AMI. But I think it is Super Forty Deluxe as the upper dome (hood) looks even. On Super Forty there is a convex "dent". Also right hand of the drum there could be a frame in the front panel which can be found at Super Forty Deluxe as well. It can be seen when enlarging the picture and make it brighter (did so in photo shop). YouTube at ca. 51:10 Super Forty Deluxe: www.jukebox-world.de/Forum/Archiv/BAL-AMI/BAL-AMI-Super40Deluxe.htmSuper Forty: www.jukebox-world.de/Forum/Archiv/BAL-AMI/BAL-AMI-Super40.htmThere are also a Wurlitzer 1600 (series 1600) and a IMA AMI I'd say next to the Chantal starting at ca. 53:10. Well spotted Hildegard! Although BAL-AMis were built in the UK, where I live in the North of Scotland they are quite rare. I see the odd Junior but never a Super Forty - and until today, I never actually realised there was such a thing as a Super Forty Deluxe! Always learning!! Norman.
