Hi B D, I have done this successfully and I don't remember there being anything particularly difficult about it. It wasn't my jukebox so I can't look at it now to refresh my memory! The top lid is quite weighty, you will have to remove it. To do this, you have to unplug all cables to the lid and remove the spring loaded struts as discussed in the "sticky" at the top of the page. You can then (carefully) close the lid and let it sit in that position so that you can remove the screws securing the hinge at the rear (I'm afraid I don't exactly remember how this is fixed or how the screws are accessed). You will now be able to lift off the lid complete. Then you need to remove anything interfacing with the glass like the selection light box. You should now be able to remove (more screws!) the top extrusion and slide out the glass.
I also don't have a 459 manual to refer to (the one I used belonged to the jukebox owner) but a manual containing a parts list would be of great assistance to you! That's a rough outline that I hope I have remembered accurately, does it help in any way? If you have specific questions on any part, just ask.
Norman.

Bev, One thing I would add to it-- WATCH removed screws-- watch for shorter/ longer sized, screws-- They MUST go into the same holes they came out of should one be a different size ! Ron Rich
