This jukebox has been sitting for almost 3 years, it was working fine at the Bar it was aquaried from, when we moved it we were not told about the lockdown procedure to safely move it, so when we plugged it in and turned it on we got an Errors Esist warning, looked up the code and it was 05-05 mech not reading where it was on the cylinder so followed the procedure to correct the error and then got the message "no errors" but it still trys to Init Disc's, hit "cancel Init" and it still trys to "Init" "Please Help" Thank You.

On this phono ( and most Rowe CD's), MUCH more info is needed to diagnose it-- Which CCC is installed? Which version "chip" is in it ? Which version MCC chip, has been installed ? Which model CD player is in it. When was the last time a new battery was installed in the CCC ? What exactly do you mean by "05-05 not reading where it was on the "cylinder" " ? There is non such "05-05" error ? Not properly locking it down should not have caused any error. Ron Rich

Sorry I'm a newbie, Warn is 05-05 Message means Both the Index and the Home signals are changing, but the mechanisum is unable to determine the magazine position. I have no Idea when the last time the Battery was installed in the CCC. I will look up the other 3 questions you asked and get back to you, one other thing... do you think the battery could cause that warning? I have another battery and it seems that that would be the easiest thing to try, Again Thank You !

I am sorry--I was rong ! The "05-05 error" is exactly what you said it was-- Check/ use a soft brush to clean the optic--usually they get "dusty", when phono "sits" with out use for awhile. Re seat the connector at the MCC--also check that connector color -- It must be red (ish) colored ! See the "common Rowe problems" sticky above. Ron Rich

OK-- You have the latest version of the CCC and the latest software, for it--- The CDM-12 is prone to failure-- but so are all CD players-- Did you check the common Rowe problems out ? You might try a total CCC "default" routine, and see if that helps ? Ron Rich
