Hello, i need Help!
I have a Problem with my Wurlitzer 2400S. The Jukebox is Working, but ther is a Problem with the torque. When the selector shaft (with the Selector Crank and plates carousel) is drive to search the Selector Latch Pin,
i can stop the selector shaft very easy with two Fingers on the plates carousel. But the DC electric motor is turing always on.
Ther is to little torque on the selector shaft.
I Think the Problems coms from the Spring, Drive Clutch but i dont understand the function of it. Is there anyone here who knows the problem?
Sorry for my bad English...
Thanks!!

My GUESS would be--the clutch is slipping ? Have you lubricated it ? Might help ?, Might make it slip more ? Hopefully someone more familar with that mechanism has a better answer ! Ron Rich

Hello Ron Rich
Thanks for the Answer!! Yes exactly, I also suspect that the clutch is slipping. I tried degreasing first and then i lubricated the spring with Balistol. But there was no change.
If the jukebox is cold after switching on it works better than if it is warm after about an hour.
I have no idea what is causing the clutch to slip ...
