looking for RO436 main lock

Hi,

the RO 436 I bought did not have a lock. Would anyone be so kind to explain how I can identify what lock to purchase?

And yea, there is a lot of brown tar damage inside and outside

Gottem da parts catalog ? Get it, then get with one or more of the suppliers listed in our FAQ's section, and you can probably find what you need. P.S. "tar" causes no "damage"-- it'll wash right off ! Ron Rich

Thx for your input, Ron. I've noticed that the service manual PDF i purchased online is just not sufficient to help me tackle this project. I only discovered this forum after purchasing it, if it were the other way around, I would have read the warning about incomplete service manuals floating around. Luckily it was only 5 euro.

I see now I first should acquire the necessary (and complete!) documentation before proceeding.
