I have a Rock-ola 480, with a display board (53115-A) for plays and selection. The top left segments of each digit are not working. For example: 99 looks like 55
Also, the display isn’t very bright and sometimes fades out and back in.
Could this be a wiring issue or would I need to replace the 4-digit display -or- the whole board?
Of course, this is purely aesthetic. The juke is set to ‘free play’ and the actual keyed-in selections play. It just looks wonky.
Thanks!

I, would first look at connectors-- and headders--re-flow all solder joints, look at schematic and see what the non working segments have in common -- Ron Rich

I was today years old when I finally learned how a multiplexing seven segment display worked!! (Thanks Ron for the nudge in the right direction)
That led me to 4th pin of the connector, which was all squished inside. So that’s the missing ‘b’ segments solved.
I suspect the other end of that wiring to be causing the fade-in-out. Will report back shortly.

Cleaned up all the connectors. Everything works now!
