Good day to all New to the forum and looking for some help. I recently acquired a 1938 Windsor model that appeared in reasonable condition given its age. All parts present and apart from a broken spiral "cage" assembly (which has been repaired) mostly cleaning and lubrication issues. The remaining major service it requires is getting the wiring back to a functional state. Most had been removed .. literally cut away leaving no traces as to where things came from. The service manual I acquired from AMR was of no assistance and all online searching has yielded nothing. I am wondering if such information ever existed. Given the covid situation, and the fact that winter is on the way, I expect I will have the time to figure things out on my own, but, things would be much easier if I could find a wiring diagram for this beast. Many thanks in advance.. I'll post some photos as it begins returning to its revitalized state.

Good day Backatcha, I suspect that you won't find much more in the way of "printed help". What you might try is looking in our FAQ's section for the RockOla group-- someone there may have other, better, ideas ! God luck --let us know --Ron Rich

Hi Don,
Back then the "Wiring Diagram" - which is a pictorial wiring diagram at about 5.5" x 6" - was stapled inside to the backdoor of the jukebox. It was not published with the Service Instructions. I will send you a link where you can find it.

Many thanks Hildegard, that is exactly what I was looking for. You have made this project something to look forward to rather than one to dread.

Well, things are moving along well. I have traced all wires to their sources and thanks to Hildegard, now have a wiring diagram to follow towards getting things reconnected as they should be. I am going to use a 5x5 metal junction box for connections since photos online show something similar originally used below the mech baseboard. With the motors presently disconnected and unswitched, I was able to clean and lubricate them and they are running smooth and silently. I attempted to attach a photo but the message received was that the forum had exceeded its allowed space for attachments??? Don

Hello DonJ
I am new here and saw your feed. I am also restoring a 1938 Rockola Windsor and have found it impossible to get information. I just got my system up and running and am currently waiting on my needle. As far as I can tell my system is all original and in great shape so if you run into any problems or have question maybe I can help out. I was curious on what type of oil you used to oil your machine and if you had the main fence card in your machine on what to oil? My machine has the wire diagram and the unpacking instructions but the card on oiling is missing. I do have the manual as well but sadly it just says to look at the card in the machine. Hope things are going well with your machine and thanks for any help you can give.
