I clarify that I use google translator.
I am trying to repair the 1454 jukebox, I have the manual.
The problem is that when you turn it on and put in a coin, you just turn the theme selector. He has a record on the turntable and his arm is on it, as if he were going to play, but there is nothing, no noise, no relay that is activated.
I am new to this issue and here in my country Uruguay, in the city of Montevideo, nobody repairs them.
I attach photos of boxes that I have in my workshop, which I brought to review.
My question to you is for example the two old rectifiers, what kind of bridges should I change them for?
One is a common diode, but I do not know the power and the other the larger one, which is in the main source of a full wave rectifier, but I don't know which one to replace it with.
Thank you very much to all.
And I remind you, my language is Spanish and I use the google translator, so forgive what may come out.
Greetings!
Pablo, Montevideo Uruguay
I tried to upload photos by passing link to my Google photos and they don't come out ...
Help me please!!

Hi Pablo, My Spanish is much worse then your translated English-- IF, I understand this problem, correctly, the record sits on the turntable, but the turntable is NOT turning ? If that's correct, look at the schematic-- does the amplifier need to be up to power prior to the turn table getting power ? Is every tube on the amp, lit up ? Ron Rich

Ron Rich Thank you very much Rich for your answer ... Indeed the valves turn on ... I improve the text again to explain myself better ... I hope you can help me where to start, I think the first thing would be the power source that supplies energy to the relays ... I clarify that I use google translator. The jukebox is as the photo is, as if it had stopped suddenly while playing music. When turning on the Rockola 1454 it does nothing, no audio, no relay noise, it does not turn the turntable, "only the track selector turn works." I have no knowledge or experience in these machines ... I have the manual and diagram ... I removed the power supply box and the coin control box. My question is for which rectifier diodes and bridges should I change these old Silicon ... I listen to your help and suggestions. I attach photos of the state. Thanks everyone for your help...

Hi Pablo, I assume that you have read our FAQ's "Hi Newbies" section and do have the Service Manual--- I would not change the rectifiers, at this stage, as it appears to have been done. Best, in my opinion to check the out put of them first. As for the turn table- that is an AC line powered motor. Check all fuses, be sure they are the CORRECT type, and size. If one or more is blown, you will need to figure out which part of the phono it controls, and find the fault. My meory, which is sometimes good--other times not too good, says the Turn Table (TT) motor is controlled by a relay on that model ? Ron Rich

Hi Pablo, I would agree with Ron, check the fuses first and try and fault find from there. If you can access the transfer motor, you may be able to turn the motor by hand so that you can return the the record back to its correct position in the carousel (record basket). Once the record is back and fuses checked, you could try making a selection either via the pushbuttons or by flipping out one of the levers on the internal selector drum and see what happens. You would need to establish if you have credit first. Not sure if your machine still has the coin mechanism in use or has been converted to free play. Please let us know how you get on. I also have a 1454 and would be happy to post any pictures if you need them. Regards Gary.
