Does anyone know where the service switch is located on a Wurlitzer 1800?

There is no "service switch" on that model-- only a "record loading switch" which is a lever operated, toggle switch that shuts off the power to the basket motor-- it is located on the front, closest side to you), bottom, of the mech shelf slightly off center-left. One MUST be sure that their are ZERO pins "released", prior to turning the basket, even with that switch off ! Ron Rich

Thanks for the info. Another question. The manual says to operate the record changer mechanically to adjust different switches (transfer switch) to get the roller is on the cam lobe. Do you know how to do this? Do you have to remove the record changer motor?

I have a Wurlitzer 1800, and the carousel stopped turning. First the selector buttons stopped. Then they worked one more time, then the carousel stopped turning while the selector does click like it should work. Anyone know what I need to look at? By the way, I am in northern Macomb County Mi. TY
