Rockola 1454 coloured strip for tube light?

Hi Folks, I have a 1454 which was bought with a plain white tube light which illuminates the record deck. Can anyone tell me if this should have some sort of coloured strip over it as per the glass plate which illuminates the front grill. Trying to get the machine back to original as possible.
