Hi everyone, wich one of this 2 juke (Wurlitzer 1100 and Rockola 1422) is the most collectible? Wurlitzer is a little bit more expansive but it still correct, both are in really good condition Thanks and have a nice day.

I have a Wurlitzer 1100 purchased years ago. I also have a Rock-Ola 1422 and a 1426. Which do I enjoy most? Probably the Wurlitzer. The Wurlitzer 1100 was the first machine, after the somewhat, short-lived production of Wurlitzer "Bubble Tube era Machines". The 1100 has a great view for "mechanism watching". The 1100 has only three casters to roll around on. No big deal, but not my idea of a good design improvement but it is different. Nice sound with a light Zenith Cobra tone arm and a pre-amp. The Wurlitzer has24 selections as opposed to the Rock-Ola's 20 selections. The Rock-Ola's have a less complex mechanism, it seems to me. On the other hand Anna and I rebuilt the badly worn Wurlitzer 1100 mechanism years ago (with the machine work by a professional machinist) and it continues to perform flawlessly. How the heck did we ever manage that?? Me, I would have to go with the 1100 Wurlitzer. Get the one you like best and have Jukebox Fun!!

Hi Cedric, Reading some old "price guides"-- the 1100 holds almost double the money value--- Ron Rich

Hi Ron, effectively, value is better for the Wurlitzer. And what a great look...
