What, did you "bypass the amp" with-- was it compatible with the speaker system installed in that cabinet ? How do you expect a turntable, to be in sync with the buttons pushed on the keyboard-- ?? Did you read the earlier PM sent to you ? Ron Rich

I used a stereo receiver and hooked up a newer speaker along with the original speakers. And I don’t understand your response to the turntable. If I push say A5 it will select and different record. Sorry if I’m not completely accurate on parts I’m describing just recently acquired this jukebox

How do you know that's compatible ? Most likely it's not, and using it could cause damage to either/both ! The "turn table" is what the record sits on, when being played. I think you are speaking of the record storage unit, or "record basket"-- please use the terms in your Service Manual to avoid confusion. The most "common" cause of this problem is a "dirty" back-stop pawl. Ron Rich

Yes the basket but you knew what I was talking about. Anyway if selecting a record for example A1 it will play something like C12. I will check the backstop paw thanks

The back stop pawls look fine. And if I make a selection it does select the right pin on the electric selector assembly. If I select A13 it always goes to D5. I read on a post with a guy having similar type problem and someone suggested maybe record basket needs alignment? Or maybe the plugs to the selector assembly are mixed up?

Well, What do you mean by "look fine" ? Is "D-5" opposite of "A-13" ? If so, it's obviously a BS problem--- Ron Rich

They move freely and look like they’re working. I will look and see if A13 and D5 are opposite Chad

No they’re not opposite of each other. Little more than 1/4 apart. Maybe clean the BS just to be sure

Not sure on this-- but some of the record baskets on the non-200 select models can "slip off" their driving "pin" -- Can you turn the basket with out turning the crank arm ? Ron Rich

Is some on holding the crank arm while you are doing this -- can you "back it up" Is the record load lever in "load", or, "Play" position ? Ron Rich

No one is holding the load arm. I can’t turn it in reverse the back-stop pawls won’t allow it. Trying to figure out what the load arm is. Sorry I’ve ordered a couple manuals for this model to help me understand the parts but they haven’t arrived yet.
