Hey all! I just got my SuperSound 2 and everything seems to work fine. The 'Normal Operation' light is turned on (should be a good sign from the literature I've been reading).
The issue I have is that the record magazine does not stop spinning even if I place the Scan Switch to the OFF position. The plate stops, but the magazine continues spinning. I have no way of stopping the magazine unless I turn the jukebox off altogether. Similarly the Now Playing numbers continuously bounce around. I feel like the issue should be obvious, but I'm kind of a newbie and don't want to go in without asking for some advice here first. Thanks in advanced!

I may be wrong, but I'd bet the service manual tells if that motor is switch or triac driven ? Ron Rich

There is a home switch which stops the magazine in the home position. Turning the scan switch to off should also stop it. Because neither are having any effect, I would suspect that there is a fault on the mechanism power control board. You will need the large fold out schematic which originally came with the service manual in order to fault find the control board. Norman.
