I'm new to juke box repair but not to electronics. Spent 36 years as a ele. Tech for a railroad signal system. Got tasked with bringing life in an old 3110. I have bought the service manual and have read through and got the lay of things. My first issue is getting the service switches correct. Unit powers on but will not return to rest. I have not seen the main changer motor turn. Record loaders are not in the down position. I have had it playing a record but the same one over again. Tell me where to start this journey. I spend a hour or so every morning at the location of jb. Any help will be a blessing. Thanks, Charles

Hi Charlie, Please use the terms in the Service Manual ! What "service switches" are you speaking of ? "Record loaders" ? If you are speaking of the record lift arms, are both "up" at the same time ? Is the crank arm stuck on a released pin ? Ron Rich

I've only read about the service sw. in the wire circuits of the manual. Yes, record lift arms. One is up into the records by a few inches and the other not as much. I have to lower both by hand to manually rotate the records. No change with the front load lever in either position. I still learning the correct terms. Seems to me the cycle didn't complete and is now stalled.
