Hello I have a Rowe Ami CD100-J Laser star Saturn ll. I cannot find the manuals for it anywhere. Nor find the part as mine is broken for the animation window the little black plastic piece that the rods attach to that move the CDs. I have a strange problem with the title pages. They go down easily but do not go up. So I completely dissemble the unit cleaned it and re-lubed it. And still does the same with no difference.
Any help with any of my problems would greatly be appreciated. Thank you

Hi Gerry, I'm not sure what your asking-- you should be able to purchase a copy of the manuals, from one of the sellers listed in our FAQ's section--- You will need to be much more specific on the "broken part"--- On the pages-- not an un-common problem-- Did you oil the drive motor for the pages ? Did you set-up the page speed using the CCC settings - If so, what did you set it for ? Ron Rich

Hello,
Thank you very much for your reply. Messaged some of this site's suggestions for the manuald. Hopefully I can get them soon to be more specific.
The broken part on the cd100-j is in the front just below the animation window behind the light. It seems like it controls the 2 CDs in the windows movement. I'll be more specific when I get the manuals so I know the name of it.
I did clean and lube the motor gears along with all other gears for the title pages. I did not set anything for the CCC as I didn't know you could. If someone could explain the procedure I will do it for sure. The go down on there own when I hit down, for up I have to help it or it just sits there and makes a winey noise. Both sides are level.

The black broken part attached to the animation motor. Which attaches to the rods which move the animation CDs in the window. I don't have a part # as I don't have the manuals and since it's broken no numbers off of it. I can find motors for cd100-J but not that part. Any ideas who would carry that.

Hi Gerry, Yes-- I do have "ideas", and I'd bet you could come up with a bunch too, if you would take a second to read the "Hi Newbies" post in our FAQ's section. Ron Rich

Gerry, I am fixing my motor on my cd100j and the manual says that part is the part number 40909501 - animation motor crank.
