Getting back to working on this after a 10+ year hiatus!
Noticed after the machine has been playing a lot, the mech motor housing is very warm, almost hot. Is there voltage continually running thru the field coils or could this be a relay sticking somewhere? Otherwise, it cycles just fine when a record is loaded/rejected.
Thanks!

I dono---but the schematic should show it ?? I don't even know if it's a PM, or FC type motor ? Let us know, as I have never thought to touch that motor to take it's temp. -- Ron Rich

Has brush holders so it's a FC. I need to get back there and measure the voltage going to it while in play vs loading and see what's up. Wouldn't make sense to have the field coils and armature electrically connected together by a relay when loading. But it IS a Wurlitzer so I guess anything's possible.
