It worked fine several days ago. This morning: 1. No volume.
Checked a wire on the cartridge that should be soldered but I'm not up to that job. Connection looked OK though. 2. The Reject Button did not work. 3. The record would not reject after the song was over.
Could a fuse be out or a tube? A short somewhere? It's been running fine since Ron Rich fixed it in July 2015 and those problems weren't major. Any ideas and does anyone know a repair guy who would come to Concord, California? Thanks, Chris

Hi Chris, WOW--has it really been six years since I was there ? My GUESS on this would be the transfer motor "over ran the stop"-- Remove the left cover on the mech, remove the small screw holding the door on the motor, and see it it's bound up-- If so try "helping" go to the right-- may be OK after that -- ! Ron! Great to hear from you! How's Hirshey? I'll try the transfer motor push. Actually, last time we met was April 20, 2015, not July. BEST, Chris

Hi Chris, Hirshey ( our English Lab) is just fine, I just feed him, he's now doing his after breakfast nap on the couch ( don't bother him for a few hours, -- he'll bug me around 8 AM to take him to the park !) ! That was still 6 years ago-- how are the cats ? Hopefully that'll work ! Ron Rich

Hey Ron, Cats are 8 years old and fine, Squeak the Demon Pudge and Zippy the Monster Meat Loaf. I removed the top on the Transfer Motor and found what looks like a steel armature and turned it to the right with no apparent blockage and turned it to the left too and then to the right some more. The problems still remain. Nuts. Any further ideas? And remember, you are dealing with a jukebox moron. Thanks! Chris

Hi Chris, Look for a "blowed fuse"-- on the "power supply box"-- top RH side of the cabinet ? Ron Rich Hi Ron, Front Fuse read 9,7,6,4,2 on Continuity, numbers got smaller the longer I left the leads on the fuse. Ohms were 1 to 2.5. Middle fuse read 3,2 and ohms 2,3,4,6,4. Rear fuse read 9,7,5,2 and ohms were 0, 1,2. Didn't see any broken wires or black spots on any. Cheers, Chris

Det fungerade bra för flera dagar sedan. I morse: 1. Ingen volym.
