Does anyone know if the upper speakers should be 16 ohm ??

Unfortunately someone replaced the speakers , i had noticed on some Rock olas the Lower speakers are 8 and upper are 16, these new ones are 8. I dont have the service manual but i have ordered one from the Rock ola web site . Due to me being in Canada im expecting delivery in 4 to 6 weeks.

It's not on the schematic but 8 ohm speakers will be OK. Smaller 16 ohm speakers aren't easy to find these days anyway! If you think the upper speakers are too "loud" and upsetting the sound balance, you can always fit series resistors.

Thanks, i did find my service manual and from it found the part number for the upper speaker, then searching for that speaker found they were 8 ohm. Thankyou for the conformation, the sound was not my issue, i just didnt want to overwork the amp.
