hey guys! been a while. about 1 out of 5 quarters will stick just below the slot. if i press the coin release just a bit, the coin will usually finish its journey and trip the two credits.
a of y'all recognize this situation? was contemplating dropping some 20 wt. down the slot, or monkeying with the gooseneck coin chute. then i came to my senses and figgered i'd ask first.
alas, my manuals are locked away in my studio across town. i'm having a record party with my musician pals tonight and i want them to get their quarters' worth.
cheers, eric

Hi Ron!
it seems to be as "up top" as a proper coin could get stuck- just below the slot - you really don't hear it travelling very far at all before it gets stuck, and when i can jiggle it free by tapping the coin release 'plunger' you can hear what seems to be it working through the mech and registering the credits like normal. of course, if i push down all the way, it gets sent to the coin return slot.

That makes very little, to no sense to me--only thing I can think of it to check the CREM. Is the phono set for album pricing ? Are you playing an album when this happens ? If so the CREM lock-out wire, may be bent ? The coin reject plunger does nothing, at the top of that chute Ron Rich

one thing i've noticed is that it tends to happen with newer quarters - the ones with the states and stuff on the back instead of the eagle. maybe there's a difference in thickness?

Did you check the CREM lock-out wire--did you l@ k into the chute ? Did you check to see if the flex chute is correctly attached to the coin drop casting ? Is there some "trash" stuck in there ? There ainna nothing else that I can think of that could cause it---- Ron Rich
