Hello everyone, Well, since I have this juke, I've got a little quavering. I've change motor complete, results was better but not perfect, the plate has been rectified with digital lathe (no result) , crazy wheel is new, I've put grafit grease inside the plate axhle housing, I've degrease crazy wheel, motor axhe and the plate. But still always little quavering. Today, I was listening Roy Orbison "California Blue (Hi Ron) and yes, quavering was disturbing. So, I've try to remove all oil and grease and put new and now quavering are stronger . Sometimes sound is like an elastic. (go and come, same volume, but frequency change) When you know what I've change and what I've done to avoid quavering, have you an idea of something special that I forget or I did wrong? Here some photo, maybe someone see something wrong? Thanks a lot to all and good evening or good day, depend where you're

Hi Cedric, The Stamann turntable grommets are excellent although they are not white! Are the sleeves still there in the grommets? The counterbalance spring on the tonearm is quite a crude arrangement so you can get some strange effects if the record isn't sitting absolutely flat on the turntable or even if the record has even the slightest warp.
Norman.

Hi Norman, Thanks. Turntable grommets are from Staman. Sleeves are inside. Could you tell me more about counterbalance spring on the tonearm? Where it is exactly? Is it this? Thanks,

Hi Cedric, No, it's the flat bladed spring on the tone arm mounting that counter balances the arm. The stylus pressure will be correct for one height position so if the record is not absolutely flat the pressure will vary with vertical tone arm movement. At the low point, the preesure will be light and the stylus may be prone to vibrating within the groove. It's a bit of an art to get the best spring position and setting the pressure on the heavy side is usually a better option.
Norman.

Norman, Ok I understand what you say. I'll check it! Actually, pressure is 4grs, I'll try 5. Thanks. Cédric.

Hi Cedric, The spring you show circled in green "looks" to be awful "heavy". This can also be the cause. if it's wrong-- I would change it for a new one-- It may be the camera angle but it's cheep ! Ron Rich

Hi Ron, Hi Norman (once again) A good day today I also found where is the problem with my Régis. I lightly sanded the crazy wheel, degreased and did the same at the top of the motor axle. Normally, it's a spring there, but on my Regis, it's a stainless steel part, very smooth. So I sanded vertically to increase grip and contact with the crazy wheel and it's good. Let the music play today! Thanks again...again Cédric.
