Hit Tracker... will a 488 work in a 480?

My first question here!

Wondering if a Hit Tracker from a 488 (53370-A) work in a Techna (52460-A) 480? Seems there are minor differences.

Also would the filter board be necessary in this case?

I don't know although I suspect it would. There are differences between profit setters, yet they are interchangeable. You don't need a working hit tracker for the jukebox to be functional. I find that people in the home environment don't bother with the hit tracker anyway.
