I would appreciate any help I can get. Tried to open the lid on this MM6 this morning and only the left side is unlatching. Sounds and feels like the key is trying on the right side just appears to be caught somehow. Any suggestions?

Hi Rob,
Common on AMi's-- Press down on the side that will not un-latch while turning the key-- often times one must bang down pretty hard --

Yep-- L@ k at the parts catalog-- find the wire and attempt to pull on it-- "Rattle" the lid while keeping pressure on the key-- Ron Rich |

. It took awhile and a bit of prying but I w2as finally able to snag the wire, it came off of that side, and got it open. Thanks.
