Has anyone tried 3d printing replacement parts? I'm trying to print the album sleeve holders for the Seeburg SS160 right now. Its actually my first attempt at making a custom 3d model for printing. Just wondering if anyone else has tried / had success with something similar.

Hi Kenneth, I have not tried this--however I have 50 or so of the album holders-- make me an offer I can't refuse, for however many you want, and there yours. Ron Rich !

I did made some 3D parts for jukebox, turntable... Gear and motor holder for animation color light on Ami B. Remote volume control box nicely shaped for Seeburg/RockOla/Jupiter, basic stepper cover for Rock-Ola, even design a new tonearm for my jukebox to use a GE RPX cartridge to play shellac, Wurlitzer speakers replica and so on.

You're lucky I love the Bay Area. With all measurements almost anything can be done.

Hi Robby, Yes-- I think therein lies my son's problem-his measurements are not correct ! Hopefully he'll get that fixed soon. As for Paris, I was there in about 1964. It is a beautiful city, but my experience as an American, left a sore taste in my mouth. Ron Rich

Paris have changed a lot since 1964. If you want me to look at making a 3D file of any parts, let me know.

Hi Robby, Sure, if you were here, I could keep you very "busy"-- but shipping cost across the pond, almost makes it prohibitive ! Thanks for the offer ! Ron Rich

This may seem off-subject, but I have experienced a problem that 3D printer users may be familiar with. I tried to dye the red selector buttons from my AMI F-120 juke box and they shrunk. I have read several accounts of doing this with both old parts such as my buttons and new parts made on 3D printers. The buttons will no longer go onto the actuator bars of the record selector switches. The grey buttons, which I did not attempt to dye are just fine. It's not a lot of shrinkage but enough to render them useless at this time. There may be some liquid to soak them in to expand them or I may have to develop a tool and jig to open up the slots. If I do that, I hve to get it near perfect or they won't grip the shafts tight enough to maintain position and spring tension.
