Ive done this several times but every time is different. I my current situation I am looking to move an M100C up a narrow set of stairs in an old 1920's home that has been converted into an apartment. The stairs measure 28" wide and get wider as you go up and then narrow out. The Jukebox is 26" last time I checked Can these be moved on their sides? If so how? Professionals will be doing this by the way

Years ago Anna and I learned of a Seeburg jukebox in a church. It was a really nice Model B and the price was right. The problem was the machine was in the balcony. I had my two wheel hand truck but those stair step were numerous and scary. I removed the mechanism and the backdoor. That made the trip down the stairs a lot easier and safer. No problem at all. WHEW!
We, while on vacation, many years ago, learned of a Wurlitzer 750-E in Louisiana. We were not far away so we contacted the owner. He had it stored in a locker. It looked bad but we purchased it. Good Price! He helped drag it out of the locker. Got a good look and as soon as I paid him he said "I'll See Ya" and drove off. Because we had nearly a truck load and trailer full of good of junk it took a while to shift everything around but we finally did. We barely made it but it was a fun vacation. It was a rough machine and had served time in Mexico. It was all painted up in bright colors! Machines used in Mexico never have the original coin gear but we managed to locate that from another junked American machine. The mechanism and everything else had to be completely rebuilt. Watch out for termites too! Maybe the paint kept the termites away! Amazingly, the plastics were good!

In response to juke 46. Yes I think I will make the calculated move and remove the mech as well as I do t know how to stop it from sliding towards the lowest point of gravity. I think it's about 60 lbs?
