AMI Rowe, ROWELINK info

Want to design some custom hardware to replace the disk changer.

To do this I need to know about the ROWELINK. I already know it is a RS468 differentiate  bus, but I am looking for extended information such as protocol details/data packet structure and the baud rate.

Can anyone help me please.

Disclaimer: I know nothing about it myself, but my casual research says that it's RS485. Would something like one of these work to be able to access it from a PC and determine more about the communication?
