Hey all, any help is appreciated.
Contracted by bar to rework house system with an AMI jukebox. The owner want to it to play a CD equivalent when there is no music coming from the jukebox. I tried a google search but can't come up with the right words to find what I want.
Is there a device that handles this? Thanks in advanced?

Yep-- there is-- but do not do it ! Bar owner MUST pay royalties to the PRS's, or you and that owner can be on the hook for BIG $$ fines ! If he has a "Jukebox", contact the JLO-- if a "down-loader" contact the music provider. Ron Rich

After educating the owner I still need to come up with a solution.

Ken, and the other gent who initially, wrote--- It makes no difference -- if it's a "Jukebox", by law, one needs to check with the JLO. If a "downloader", one needs to check with the PRS's (ASCAP-BMI--and so on) themselves. Ron Rich

If this is in "commercial" usage, then yes a "copyright" (extortion) license is required for any copyrighted music patched through the jukebox's audio system.
Rowe makes an Amplifier Accessory Board kit to allow access to the jukebox amplifier audio signals from external sound sources.

In that case, it's NOT "a Jukebox", by law -- you will need to talk with whatever company supplies the down-load music. Ron Rich
