Hi Darryl, Didja read the above sticky, on gripper problems ? Dija read the other sticky on it, in the RockOla section ? -- You will need to expose the motor's armature, and turn it back by hand--use NOTHING else. You should oil the gripper at the point mentioned in the sticky-- and see if you can determine why it reversed. Ron Rich

I am not sure, but it appears to me that the (2)"things" the cam is jamming on are, spring loaded so that one could push down on them and insert them (one or the other) into the cam, so it would follow the cam, causing the griper arm to move either left, or right, depending on which one was inserted-- Convoluted description, I know-- but the best I can do-- HTH-- Ron Rich

Can you turn the motor so that the gripper sits over the record rack ? If so, that should re-set it correctly, if the left/right toggles are working correctly --- Ron Rich
