Hi All I have 2 identical Rock-Ola Anniversary Legend 6000-1X machines. 1 is for parts the others runs well except for 2 issues that are possibly related. CD carousel won't stop spinning. From initial power on it starts spinning. Will select and play...then goes back to rotating like it can't home. This means the switch for Operation / Off / Scan doesn't do anything. Perhaps related - can't get the Line In / BGM to work. Perhaps because the carousel is still spinning? I've tried swapping parts with a different motor board. Changed cables. Is there a home location on the carousel that I don't know about?
Any ideas gratefully received.

I have no idea from what I speak--just GUESSING-- IF, it plays the correct selection, it's "homed" ! I would look for a bad triac, that drives that motor- as for thee BGM problem-- you could be correct on that ? Ron Rich

Yes. I think it indexes fine. I see the blinky light on the control card and it displays the disc numbers on the led display. The magazine just never stops unless playing a disc. As soon as a disc is returned...away it goes, spinning away until another selection is made. This doesn't seem right, I thought it was supposed to stop at a home position and wait for a selection. Watching others on YouTube they do. It might explain the mode switch having no effect. Since the mode doesn't work I can't load discs (unless I power off) or remap the discs as I need to move the mode to off and then hit a button sequence.
Just wondering if anyone has seen this behaviour.
