I live in the Okanagan / Shuswap in British Columbia. I am a retired Telecommunications worker. My father was owner operator of 8 radio stations in BC. My father and I were majority co-owners with a minority shareholder group that operated Cable TV and Radio properties later.
I have my 1015 which was my late fathers, which is the same machine he listed to as a teen ager, with a photo of it in action in 1947-48. It was this reason I chose it over the Seaburg 100, a model that was the same as in happy days, and a Victorola Credenza Talking.
