I'm still working on the 2000 and I've almost got it working perfectly. What I'm hoping the final issue is that I get a waver in the sound, almost as if when the record reaches a certain spot in the revolution it gets louder for a split second. It seems worse on records that have a bit of a warp in them but im not sure. Is there an adjustment that may help? The needle pressure is set as per recommended and the cobra is brand new, amplifier has been rebuilt and sounds great. I just think it has something to do with the turntable or tone arm. I've worked on this type of jukebox before but never had this issue. Thanks for any help, Mauro

Ron, I had another friend suggest that same thing so I removed the belt, cleaned the pulleys with alcohol and installed a new belt. I've only played two records so far but they sound great! I'll give it a good test run tomorrow. Thank you! 🙏

Mauro, Have you oiled both end bearings felts, on the motor-- have you oiled the shaft the drive wheel rides in-- have you oiled the pressure point at the ball bearing-- are the motor mounts good, and the correct ones (not the stiff ones, sold by some !) ? have you saturated the turntable shaft with oil ? (all 3 in One, MOTOR oil--20 wt.) Ron Rich

Hey Ron, I did all of the above and replaced the belt. Also cleaned the drive surfaces with alcohol and qtips. All seems to be working well now. Fingers crossed, thanks again, Mauro
