Can anyone help me identify this aftermarket cabinet (I think it is anyway). It has a Wrulitzer 412 mechanism in it. I do restorations on radio cabinets and work with a radio shop that does the internals. You can see some examples on my Facebook business page at www.facebook.com/alfortunatomastercraftsman/ . I'm thinking of doing a jukebox and can't find any good pictures of this one (minus the slopped on paint).

Hildegard, I changed the picture to a link. Maybe that will help.

Hi Al, The "picture" worked fine-- I saw it ? and sent a reply- but I dono where the reply went ?? Did you post this elsewhere under another heading ? My reply was-- the photo looks like a genuine 1936 WurliTzer 412 cabinet, to me---Ron Rich '

Hi Ron, I did see it but only briefly. I think it may have been in a notification but never showed up in the thread. Could be I messed something up since this is the first time I've used the forum.

Hi Al, No-- something "weird" is going on-- I don't think it's you-- I'm getting all kinds of "notices" about posts that I can't find either ? And seeing some posts marked as "new" that I know I read--and two-three duplicates, of some posts ? Might try re- showing that photo ? Ron Rich

Ron, in the Wurlitzer list there is a notice that you posted, but there is nothing in the thread.

No problem Hildegard. I'm new to jukeboxes. Now that you and Ron have identified the model as being a 412, I'm trying to find a picture what the modified cabinet would have looked like when first modified and without the slopped on paint. I've found pictures of many other modified cabinets, but not this particular one. Or, was the paint part of the mod? If I was to buy this (asking way too much), it would end up being a sample of how I can bring a basket case back to life. I do a lot of radio cabinets for a local radio shop and the cabinets are very similar. This would make a great example of something different.

Hi Al, Didja l@ k at Hildegard's site-- an original is shown there-- I think, the mods on yours consisted of a "lite-up kit" and the "red paint"-- Ron Rich
