I have a Legend 6000x that has been in my game room for years pretty much issue free other than a CPU battery replacement a few years ago and a player replacement two years ago. I went to map a replacement CD for a defective one and I can't access the system, the reset and hits buttons register in regular play and the slide switch is working but in the off position there is no response any ideas on where to go next?

Can one "re-capitulate" (OK--"default") that computer ? If so, you might try that ? Ron Rich

I'd be interested to hear if you had any luck with this issue. I think I have a similar issue.
The battery on mine was corroded. I removed it and made it remote as suggested in other posts. I also cleaned the board up to remove the junk that got left behind and tested the traces in the area for continuity. Everything looks good, but when I turn it on, it comes up to the S1 code....and I can't get any reaction from the buttons to program it.
I'll check around to see if I can find some information about a default or reset process. I can certainly give that a try as well.
