Hey Ron, that’s where I started, the parts catalog. Guess what, no description or pics. 50 year old jukebox, I’m guessing some of the original parts are missing. Was hoping someone who owns one of these jewels could provide some insight.
Rest assured I only askz when the partz thingy doesn’t show a thingy.

Looks to me that the metal piece in your second pic with the all the cutouts is not original.
The holes appear consistent with the plastic overlay for a Grand Prix 1. I just looked inside my GP1 and it looks identical. Notice that your tallest hole on the left side is positioned to the left of the Reset button. On the actual GP2, the tallest hole should be wider and more or less line up with the Reset button.
I'm not sure what that piece is called, best of luck finding a replacement part. If you're handy, I'd bet you could do some creative cutting and get pretty close.
