How can I increase speed of my carriage between selections? Also I know my tone arm triggers record return at cut off, but when tone arm returns is it keying carriage movement to next selection?

Motor clean-up-- a drop or two of the correct oil in spots, MAY help ?. No-- end of record has no bearing on that. Ron Rich

Now have a new problem, rockola 1000 wont select record all of a sudden. The selector shows its scanning all the selection, the key pad allows me to select a record, but does not stop at all, not even at or in home position. Have cleaned all connections. Do I have any advice out there, this machine has worked fine for 3 years, now this. It is on free play. Do I have to somehow reprogram it, or get it in home position to begin?

Try--dis-connecting the battery for a few hours-- is the batt. good ? If it has not been moved outside of the computer--do so-- just add wires and use two sided tape to mount it on the wood, next to the computer. Ron Rich

Disconnected battery as suggested, didn't work, still having problems, why won't it stop at home continues to scan.
