Rockola Bubbler External Speaker Issue

I am left scratching my head with this one. I have connected two external speakers to my Rockola Bubbler, which work perfectly when I play the jukebox by itself. I also have my laptop connected to my bubbler for playing Spotify. The sound comes through the bubbler speakers when playing Spotify but NOT the external speakers. I am baffled as to why this is happening. Can anyone help?
