enlarging the record hole to fit on a 45 spindle

Hi Everyone,

I have a few newer 45s that have the spindle hole you'd expect from a 33 album so they won't work with my Wurlitzer 3100. I don't really want to destroy any records but it looks like you might be able to punch the center of these to get the right size spindle hole. Has anyone attempted this?

In Europe, there are record "dinkers", made for just that purpose. Might be one of the guys here will see this post and help out, or maybe you can "google it" ? Ron Rich
