Well,
It ain't "dead" iffin it lights up--izit ?
Is the BO/AC in use ?
Iz the (basket) circuit breaker on the left "front" of the mechanism shelf, tripped, or reset--izit Good ? Will the carriage hold solenoid right there pull in with the service switch ? Has this phono been "transported" without the proper tie-down proceedure being followed ? When was the last time the oil wicks on the motors were oiled ? Is the basket motor jammed ? Ron Rich

OK-- didja check that motor-- is it a clutch type--is the clutch in the run, or rest position ? Did you check the "over-ride coil" --has it/will it energize using the service switch. If it has energized and the ratchet is holding the over-ride switches closed, are they making GOOD contact (noted for not doing so !) or have they been damaged in shipment-- ? Ron Rich
