The turntable motor on my Wurlitzer 3800 turns continuously. If the jukebox power is on the turntable is spinning. Which switch/relay controls when the turntable has power at the right time?

Please READ the "Hi Newbies" post in the FAQ's section-- Gottum the Service Manual ?? If not see our FAQ's section post, and purchase it-- Turn that phono off and do not turn it on, till you have properly oiled that motor, or you are likely to need a new one ! Ron Rich

I have the manual, the motor is well oiled, the motor mounts and belt have been changed.

OK--Then read the manual-- the schematic will tell you what makes the motor run-- If i recall correctly, it is triac driven on that model ? Ron Rich

I have looked at the wiring diagrams and have read the manual, the manual does not have a sequence of operations. That is why I asked the question.

Wiring diagrams ( schematics) should ? Find the TT motor on them and follow the wires back to it's power source-- Ron Rich
