I’ve got 2 issues but don’t think they are related. Suddenly I have record skip…every record skips and the needle stays in the same spot. I’m sure it’s time for a new needle. Directly after this occurred, the next week the gripper arm picks up the record from the turn table but the tone arm is a fraction slow getting out of the way and the gripper arm catches the tone arm, binding the two. The timing is off apparently. I’m sure there must be an adjustment and was hoping someone may point me in the right direction. Any input is appreciated. Thanks, Dale

Hi Dale, IMHO, no "adjustment" is needed--proper, LUBRICATION, is what's needed. "Adjustments" do not change themselves, so unless someone has been "tweaking screws", the factory adjustments are correct ! Ron Rich

No adjustments made, as lubrication goes, you may be correct. I put a new needle in, same issue. Still skips, gripper bow still clashes. Time to lubricate and see if that works

Have you READ the above stickies, on gripper problems-- is yours a metal or plastic bow assembly ? Ron Rich
