Hello,
Jukebox newbie in southern NH. I have been restoring EM pinball machines for the past 3 years. I just hate seeing these beauties get thrown away because people don't know what to do with them when they stop working. A couple weeks ago when I went to purchase an EM, the seller asked me if I would be interested in taking a Seeburg SS160 jukebox with me or it was going to get thrown in a dumpster. Of course I took it and am excited about getting it running again even though I know nothing of how a jukebox works. I have ordered the manuals and hopefully will get them before Christmas as I will have time to work on the juke.
Cosmetically, the jukebox is in great shape as it was in a finished basement. Unfortunately, from what the owner said, the machine had not worked in the past 6 years or so. When plugged in, the lights come on but that's about it. The owner put it in SCAN mode and the mechanism scanned from one end of the record rack to the other, but that was it.

I just joined this site. I did post a You Tube video under William Weisel that goes over what you need to do to get this SS160 working. Under William Weisel
