I am working on a Rockola 437 Ultra for a Client, and am not having much luck finding "new" carriage coils. I've found them used/original on eBay, and I've found the wobble plate coil on Marco Pinball supply...My question is, will the Marco part 34556-1, work for 34557-1 ? Though the coil on the wobble plate switch is shorter, it appears that they would still work as carriage coils with spacers on bottom? The Marco listing "references" the carriage coil part#, so, I'm assuming it is considered to be replacement for either? Thanks for any thoughts, and if I missed any links leading to these parts, apologies...I did skim through the site looking for supplier links.

Hi Jacob, Why don't you ask the people offering the part that question ? We have a sellers list in our FAQ's section-- I would assume more then one of them will stock a reproduction of that coil ! Ron Rich

Apparently I'm missing something? I'm not seeing a sellers list in FAQ's, nor sellers of reproduction parts?

Thanks Ron! I did that before I ever joined/posted...perhaps you need to re-read it?...Been a while? Nothing helpful there for me. Please just remove me, whatever, your attitude is terrible...For me, reading the Service Manual was all I really needed, which I did before stumbling on your fun site...as you love to preach? Hi Jacob, I don't understand what the problem is with fitting a used part in this instance? You could also rewind the coil if need be? While the 34556-1 might well work OK, because it's physically smaller, at the very least it will be slightly slower (sluggish maybe?) to operate. And you wouldn't think Rock-ola would have used a 34556-1 and a 34557-1 if two 34556-1 coils would have been fine?
Norman.
