When I make a song selection nothing happens, the scan switch works fine its just like there is no power to the selection buttons please help.

Hi Tim,
That is a very vague description (my car won't start)! In a previous post, Ron asked if you had the manual- do you? When you push both selection buttons, is the write-in relay operating?

Sorry was on a road trip, the jukebox is set up on free play and when I make a selection and say nothing happens that includes the read-in read-out function. If you saw the other post I made to Paul everything started working the next morning and than the day after that it stopped and yes I do have the service manual and schematic for this machine and I am also aware of the basic operating principles

Most "jukeboxes" including a RockOla 452 can NOT be "set-up" on "free play"--If operating without coins, something has been "jury=rigged" ! Is this jury rig operating to establish credits, or not ? Is the credit lamp lit ? Ron Rich
