I had several selections that would not play. I could hear a click, but the tabs would not come out. I'm assuming the pin-bank needs cleaned. What's the best way to do this? Thanks

Your problem is not necessarily "cleaning"-- could be the flexible wire going to the "grounding fingers", on the group magnet armature assembly, has un-soldered itself. As for cleaning--start removing "stuff"-- I have heard from what I consider t be a "reputable source", well in the past, that you get a bucket put some "Tide" in it, fill it with HOT water, and soak them for about 1/2 hour--rinse with hot water --dry for at least two days-- I have NEVER done this myself !! BE 200 % sure that the "CCU fuse" is 1.6 or smaller !! ( sticker MAY say 2 amp SB--too large !! ) Ron Rich

Consult your manual. Once you take the cover off the pinbank you will see the piece with the 20 section contacts. Remove the clips and washers holding it in place. The magnets are underneath. The wires are very thin and fragile and sometimes not connected. If you do a complete disassembly and cleaning of the pinbank you will find hundreds of parts. Keep everything organized. Do not use an abrasive to clean the contacts. Alcohol and a pencil eraser works well on the contacts. Once finished cleaning getting the selection levers all lined up and back in place is an art. A folded business card helps to hold them in place. Good luck.
